At the Visit ?

Together we can discuss your current concerns, your feeding goals and review any equipment you may be using.

Observing a breastfeed or breastfeeds ( if it’s cluster time!) and observing an expressing session if this is necessary.

If expressing I can assist with breast pump flange fitting to ensure comfortable and efficient expressing

Access to your baby’s health/growth book will help me check in on progress so far with your visits with your local maternal and child health nurse or midwife visits from the hospital.

I will email you a plan on the day of the appointment which may include links to additional information, and recommendations to consult with other health practitioners if necessary.

2 weeks of email support is included with the appointment
If needed furthur home visits or a telehealth session can be booked .

What to Expect ?

After you have scheduled your appointment via online booking or phone , you will receive an email confirming the details and a reminder the day before.
The email will include an intake form that gives me information about you and your baby that helps me understand where you are at and where you would like to be
If you are unable to fill it out and return before the appointment please don’t stress

For home visits I will text to let you know I am on the way!
For telehealth appointments I will send a link the morning of.

As you already know babies have no appreciation our hour adult time schedules and neither should they . So please don’t worry if they need a feed just before the appointment . Maybe do one breast or only give a small amount of feed.

It is valuable to have a partner , friend or family member to be with you during the consult and or to support you by looking after your other children.

Please consider how to secure any fur babies during the consult either outside or in another space. Some dogs are very protective of their mothers and babies.
