A supply line is a thin tube that is secured at the breast or put in the corner of baby’s mouth to supplement with breastmilk or formula . It is an alternative to using bottles or finger feeding. May help babies who get tired easily at the breast , are needing top up feeds due to losing alot of weight and transitioning to the breast from the bottle. May help mothers who aren’t able to produce all the milk their baby needs from the breast alone , have not given birth to a baby and wish to breastfeed such as adoption, surrogacy or a same sex partner who did not give birth but wishes to breastfeed.

The Supplemental Nursing System (SNS) is a device specifically designed to supply breastmilk/formula to the baby whilst they are breastfeeding. The container filled with breastmilk or formula is clipped securely to a bra strap , shirt or pillow and while the baby is latched at the breast a thin flexible tube is placed alongside the nipple into the baby’s mouth and a controlled and consistent flow of milk is released as they feed
